I’m gonna be trying to upload a bunch of these vids in the days following, in celebration of Mardi Gras, which falls on March 8. They’ll be under the banner of “Only in This Universe…”, something I heard someone say while taking in the sights of the Krewe De Vieux parade down Royal Street.
New Orleans’ story is far from over. For more info on how you can be a part of it, check out the St Bernard Project, a group that’s rebuilt over 350 homes since 2007, and looks to raise over $300,000 before Mardi Gras 2011. In the meantime, check out the vid embedded below and smile.
